Shirley Murrell's Obituary
Shirley Marie Murrell, daughter of Lowell Howard and Goldie Mae Proctor Murrell, was born May 2, 1953, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, September 30, 2011, in St. John?s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, four months, and twenty-eight days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Justin Caudle; and two brothers, Arthur and Jim Murrell.
Shirley is survived by three sons, Johnny Caudle, and his fianc?e, Casey Goodwin, of Tunas, Missouri, Troy Caudle, of Sunnyview, Missouri, and Billy Sterling, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Belinda Licea, and her husband, Sergio, and Brittany Rhoades, and her husband, Robert, all of Lebanon, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Shyenne, Skye, Jarrett, Lily, Rose, Jayden, Brandon, Jordan, Tori, James, Erica, Paige, and Summer; three great-grandchildren, Gauge, Tucker, and Bryson; two sisters, Wilma Alvis, of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Judy Burgess, and her husband, Ted, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Lebanon, Missouri, and was raised in Linn Creek and Sunnyview, Missouri. She made her home in the Lebanon area for most of her adult years. She was a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her family throughout the years.
Shirley made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a member of Sleeper Pentecostal Church, where she was once again saved on July 10, 2010.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, making lists, and shopping. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
