Shirley Ann Ostrander (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shirley Ann Ostrander, age 57 of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away in her home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born March 3, 1965 in Mountain View, Missouri to Clifton Meadows Sr. and Elsie Sansoncie Meadows.
In 1998, Shirley was married to Jim Ostrander. He passed away in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her father.
She was raised in Vichy, Missouri and was a graduate of Belle High School. She went on to graduate from College of the Ozarks and then moved to Memphis, Tennessee to pursue a Master’s degree in Divinity. She pastored for a time in the Memphis area and also worked for Fed-Ex in Memphis for twenty-five years. Shirley moved to Lebanon six years ago to be close to her mother.
In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed doing crafts and pottery. She would frequently give her creations to family and friends for special occasions. Shirley had a passion for homeless animals and while living in Memphis, she ran a rescue dog mission.
Shirley is survived by her mother, Elsie Moreland of Lebanon, Missouri and her brother, Clifton Meadows Jr. and his wife, D’Anna of Competition, Missouri.
She professed her faith in God early in her life and her faith was very important to her. She was a kind hearted and loving woman and enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirley will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
All services will be private.
A memorial to Claws and Paws has been established and donations made be left at the funeral home.
