Shirley A Rooffener (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Shirley Ann Rooffener, daughter of Carl and Irene Clark Webster, was born November 6, 1938. She went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Shirley was preceded in death by her best friend and loving husband Gene Rooffener; her parents, Carl and Irene Webster; her granddaughter, Shannon Bailey and her sister, Hazel Layman.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Pope and husband Glenn of Eldridge, Missouri, Sharon Arnold and husband Stephen of Camdenton, Missouri, Sheryl McGuire of Lebanon, Missouri, Marvin Rooffener and wife MeKala of Owensville, Missouri and Stefanie Girard and husband Mark of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Shirley Carpenter, Jessica Goble, Zachary Arnold, Courtney Arnold, Clay Arnold, Logan McGuire, Cody Rogers, Tyler Rooffener, Kyle Rooffener and Dylan Girard; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Webster of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Shirley had many friends and was loved by all who knew her.
On May 27, 1956 she was married to Gene Rooffener. Together they shared thirty-five years wonderful years of marriage.
Shirley was a great friend, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, mother and wife. She will be deeply missed, but we find comfort in know we will see her again.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till time of service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Edith, Missouri.
