Skylah Anne-Maria Mitchell (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Skylah Anne-Maria Mitchell, infant daughter of Amanda Lacey Powell and Jessie Allen Mitchell, was born May 23, 2013, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was taken to heaven by angels Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in St. Louis Children’s Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of thirteen days.
She is survived by her parents, Amanda Powell, and Jessie Mitchell, of the home; a brother, Cooper Leon Berry, of Springfield, Missouri; her maternal grandparents, Allen and Laurie Mosier, of Lebanon, Missouri; her paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Angela Mitchell, of Laquey, Missouri; her maternal great-grandparents, Bonnie West, Tommy and Kelly McCormick, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Kenneth and Retta Mosier, of Richland, Missouri; her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Vosylius, of Laquey, Missouri; several other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed having her grandmother read to her and loved to hear her mom and dad’s voices. She was baptized on June 5, 2013, in St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Skylah’s life on earth was very short, but she had touched the lives of many. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
