Stanley Swigert (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Stanley Allen Swigert, son of Albert and Etta Jones Swigert, was born June 30, 1962, in Columbia, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, February 26, 2019, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-six years, seven months, and twenty-eight days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Anthony and Randy Swigert; and a sister, Linda Posten.
Stanley is survived by his girlfriend, Twila Keen, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Dennis Swigert, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Gary Swigert, of Glenwood, Minnesota; two sisters, Becky Keen, and Lisa Porter, both of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived most of his life in the Lebanon, Missouri area. At the age of thirty-nine years, he suffered a brain aneurysm that left him comatose for the rest of his life. He had made his home in nursing facilities for the last several years.
Early in his life he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activity was fishing. He always appreciated visitors.
Stanley was a loving brother, uncle, boyfriend, and was a caring friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
