Steve Paul Hess (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Steve Paul Hess, son of Robert Darrell and Vallamae Stillman Hess, was born, September 25, 1953, in Patton, Missouri. He departed this life, August 31, 2017, at the age of sixty-three years, eleven months and six days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Barbie Hess, Debbie Dearing, Brenda Bright, Lois Bowley and a sister at an early age, and two brothers, Gary Hess and a brother at an early age.
He is survived by significant other Rose Denton of Montreal, Missouri, his son, Matthew Polley and wife Robin of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Darrell Hess and Hugey Hess, three sisters, Donna Johnson, Sandy McCall and Janet Firebaugh, nine grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Steve was raised in the St. Louis and Lake of the Ozarks area, until he moved to the lake and made his home here in 1998 with Rose.
In his spare time Steve enjoyed hunting, farming, woodworking and spending time with his family especially his grand kids.
He was a loving father, uncle, brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
