I'm so sorry for your loss. I know this has been a hard time for all of you. Watching one you love suffer with an illness is so very difficult to do. I wish I could have made it home for Steve's visitation.
I have so many fond memories of the things our families did together while I was growing up. I remember the hayrides and bonfires at the Kanel's and the get-togethers at Kensinger's. Steve was always so much fun and of course he loved to pick on me. I cherish those memories.
I want you all to know that you are in my prayers and that I am thinking of you. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Our condolences are extended to April and the Owens family. We were saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He and April were among our earliest acquaintances when we moved to this area. Steve had been our younger son's baseball coach, and a person for whom our son and the other players had great respect and admiration. We shared those sentiments. He will be missed.
