While living in Georgia, he became the Vice President of CCL Associates, a real estate development firm specializing in helping churches in building programs. It was Steven's kind heart that led him to start a charity organization that helped support small churches with their building needs and also partnered with Habitat for Humanity, helping several families in the area.

In his spare time, Steven enjoyed fishing and golfing, but his true love was hunting, particularly the Whitetail Deer.
