Sue Reppert (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Sue Reppert, age 72, of Fair Play, Missouri, passed away at her home, in Fair Play, on June 16, 2018.
Sue was born on July 21, 1945, in Abbeville, Georgia to Jewell Lamar and Mildred Marguerite (McDuffie) Fogarty. She grew up the area and was a true Southern Belle. On April 21, 1969, she married the love of her life, John Howard Reppert. They had nearly 50 years together, and from their union, three children were born.
She was a full-time mom and wife, until the end of her days, and even after, now taking care of her son Glenn, who was waiting for her in Heaven. Family meant everything to her, but nothing gave her pleasure like her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The word ‘no’ did not exist while they were around, and she always carried candy in her purses (which she was also very fond of), to give grandbabies.
Sue was a kind woman and had a special place in her heart for her dog. A hobby that she enjoyed in her spare time was playing bingo with friends. The friends she considered family, were those that belonged to her church, which she deeply loved.
Sue was not wasteful with her money, or her time. She even made sure others were being productive, and in the morning, if she was already awake, she would make enough noise banging and slamming cabinets that everyone else would get up and start working.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her youngest son, Glenn Reppert.
Survivors include her husband, John Howard Reppert; children, John Howard Reppert, Jr., and his wife Shelly, and Mary Alice Reppert; grandchildren, Johnny Reppert, and wife Jessica, Shawn Reppert, and wife Aurora, Blaine Reppert, and wife Lauryn, and Payton Stinger; great-granchildren, Tanner, Brooklyn, Kensley, Oakley, and Braeleigh; two sisters, Faye Wilder, and husband Charlie, and Betty Dean, and Husband Tom.
