Sue Taylor's Obituary
Evelyn Sue Taylor, age 76, of Fair Play, Missouri passed away on Monday morning, April 5, 2010 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 2, 1933 in Center, Missouri to William James Thomas and Mabel Kathryn (Marsh) Thomas. Sue worked for Avon Products from 1950 until her retirement in 1986. In May of 2000 she married Wallace R. Taylor in Grandview, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her son, James Stevens in June 2008, her brother, Donivan Thomas and two sisters, Martha Clark and Rachael Dolan. Sue is survived by her husband, Wallace R. Taylor of Fair Play, Missouri, her daughter, Michelle Taylor of Austin, Texas and three grandchildren, Alloura Stevens, Ileigha Stevens and Kateara Stevens. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00pm, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Billy Russell officiating. A visitation will be from 6:00-7:00pm at the funeral home prior to service time. Musical selections will be “Amazing Grace” and “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You” sung by Lavonna Franklin with Irma Delzell playing the piano.
