After she and Sherman were married, they made their home in Southern California for forty years. Through the years, Susa was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also taught pre-school in their church in Southern California. After retiring, the family moved back to Lebanon and made their home.
Susa had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Her family heritage was very important to her and she was proud of her farm heritage. She remained active for as long as her health permitted. She liked doing craft projects and decorating her home for every season and holiday. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Susa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established to the Heritage Baptist Church Building Fund and memorials may be made through the funeral home.
