Susan Rowan (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Susan Cleora Rowan departed this life on Thursday, November 11, 2022 at Wilshire at Lakewood
Rehab Center in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born near Wishart, Missouri in Polk County, the
sixth (of seven) children of A.G. and Ethel(Duncan) Mitchell on September 28, 1925.
She accepted Christ as her personal guide at Wishart Methodist Church in 1937. She was
baptized and joined the Liberty Christian Church in 1962.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Eldon Rowan, her two youngest sons
Victor Rowan and David Rowan, and three brothers, and her parents.
She leaves behind her oldest son, Jim Rowan and his wife Loretta; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rowan, and
his wife Michele, Elaina Rowan, Rachel Tate, Bethany Tate and two great grandchildren, Marley
Rowan and Max Potts
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 16 at 10 a.m. until service time. Services will begin at 11 a.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. She will be laid to rest in Mitchell Campground
Cemetery.
