Suzanne Nies (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Suzanne Nies, age 68, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home, in Bolivar.
Suzanne Kay Nies was born December 21, 1948 and was taken home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on May 30, 2017 to live with him in Heaven for eternity. Sue is now back in the loving arms of her parents Curtis and Florence Wallett as well as her beloved sister Patty and brothers Maynard and Jim. Sue is also smiling and holding her great-grandson Bryce in her arms again.
Sue lived a happy and full life. She was married to her true love December 31, 1966 who survives her. Together they were blessed with four children; Michael, Cindy, Kathy and Debbie. Sue was loved by all who knew her. She worked at Walmart as a cashier, a job that she loved, until 2015 and in that job touched a great many lives.
Sue enjoyed her nights out playing bingo with her best friend, Wanda. She also adored her cat, Sameko, and would refer to him as her other son.
Sue loved her family, and especially loved Sundays, when family and friends would come to see her. She always made it a point to make everyone feel welcome, whether she had just met them or had known them since birth. Sue was a truly remarkable, loving person, with the kindest heart the Lord has ever blessed the Earth.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Florence Wallett, as well as her brothers, Maynard and Jim, her sister Patty, and a great grandson Bryce Johnson.
Sue is survived by the love of her life, ShellieAnn Nies, as well as her four children; Michael Nies, Jr. and significant other Julia Sexton of Bolivar, MO, Cindy Cavanaugh of Springfield, MO, Katherine Martin and husband Eddie of Mt. View, MO, and Debra Sohota and husband Tarjinder Singh of Mt. View, MO, and her other son, Sameko the cat. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Rebecca Lynn Nies and Russel Johnson, Andrea Michelle Nies, Christina Marie Nies and Jordan Stanton, Sierra Sexton, Brittany Sue Siler and Garrett Harp, Dustin Charles Siler and wife Kristin Nicole, Gavin Lee Martin, MaKenna Nei-Tao Martin, Tyler Alexander Neives, and Lynsie Neives. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Brodey Dean Johnson, Dixie LeAnn Johnson, Koby Samuel Wilson, Hudson Devon LeRoy Stanton, Alyssa Madelyn Harp, Attie Devon Harp, Elijah Kahle, and Sydney Harmony Siler. She is also survived by her best friend, Wanda.
Sue also leaves behind the town she called home and by all the people here who loved and will miss her. We thank you all for showing our mom the love she deserved from, Michael, Cindy, Kathy and Debbie.
