Suzy Harding- Sullivan's Obituary
Suzan Darlene “Suzy” Sullivan Harding, daughter of Walter Alvin and Stella Rosetta Moreland Clough, was born September 15, 1961, in Ellisville, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, June 20, 2009, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, nine months, and five days. On October 16, 2008, she was united in marriage to Russell Eugene Harding, after having shared many years together. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ronald Clough. Suzy is survived by her husband, Russ, of the home; two brothers, Walter A. Clough, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Richard W. Clough, and his wife, Debbie, of Oak Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Margaret Wilson, and her husband, William, of Kennett, Missouri, and Sharon R. Miller, of St. Louis, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. She was born in Ellisville, Missouri, and was raised in the Stoutland and Lebanon area. She attended Stoutland Schools and Lebanon High School. She worked at H.D. Lee Company, Marathon Electric and Sunstrand for several years, before beginning the career that she loved, being a United States Postal Mail Carrier. Starting in 1991, she worked as a mail carrier in Camdenton, Lebanon, Kansas City and then back to Lebanon and established a friendship with many of the people she served along the way. She loved her job and co-workers, and felt particularly close to the senior citizens on her route. Suzy had a great love and affection for nature and all animals and especially toward her two dogs and three cats. She was always kind to, and would often take in to her home, stray animals in the area. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and making her own style of stained glass in her spare time. She liked older cars and was very fond of her 1970 Ford Mustang. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews. Suzy was a loving wife, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation is Monday evening 7-8:30 pm at the funeral home under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri. Return to top
