Sydney Long (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Sidney F. Long, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Sid was born in Bolivar, Missouri to Merlin and Willa Long. He was preceded in death by both parents, and his two sisters, Betty King and Gail Greenwell.
Sid retired from Kansas Gas Service Company at age 58 after 33 years of loyal service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Shirley, of the home. Other survivors include a brother in law, Ken Greenwell, St. Peter's, MO and sister in law and brother in law, Mary and Allan Weil, Overland Park, KS and other family and friends.
