Tammie Berrier (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Tammie Sue Berrier, daughter of Richard and Carol Sue Prock Mahan, was born January 8, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas. She departed this life Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-five years, and twenty-two days.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Kevin; and two sisters, Mary and Sherry.
Tammie is survived by five sons, Jeremy Massey, Richard Massey, and his wife, Jennifer, Brandon McCabe, Dustin McCabe, and Michael McCabe, and his wife, Erin, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren; her mother, Carol Sue Coleman, and her husband, Clell, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Kerith Mahan, and his wife, Kim, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Bill Mahan, and his wife, April, of the State of Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Kansas, and was raised in California and Kansas. The family then moved to the Plato, Missouri area, and Tammie attended Plato High School. Throughout the years, Tammie was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also worked as a sales clerk for the Scholastic Book Store in Jefferson City, Missouri for a time. She had made her home in the Lebanon community for a number of years.
Tammie had professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Community Baptist Church where she was a leader in the Awana Program, and the Overcomers Group. She had been attending the Cowboy Church near Lebanon for the last several years.
In her spare time she enjoyed horses and horseback riding. She was also a fan of auto racing. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and sharing special times together.
Tammie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends during her lifetime.
