I was shocked to hear of Tammy's passing. I met Tammy in 1991 when we started nursing school. We carpooled to West Plains for classes. During that time, we became good friends & had so many laughs. Tammy was smart & had a huge heart. I knew she was going to touch so many lives as a nurse. A few years after graduation we lost contact, as we started new chapters in our lives, but I never forgot her. Thankfully, via social media we reconnected a few years ago. After 20 plus years, I was not surprised about her nursing career and accomplishments. She had met her soul mate and was so happy. She was deservingly proud that she was studying to become a NP. I admired her. She was so proud of her family & grandkids. She spoke of her parents, brother Clay and kids all the time when we were in school... that still hadn't changed. She loved them so much. I can't imagine the emptiness left in so many lives. She was a rock. She was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Rest in peace my dear friend...until we meet again.
