Tammy M. Farris (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Tammy M. Farris, daughter of Ralph and Virginia Ward Bobbitt, was born April 24, 1969, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, September 25, 2021, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-two years, five months, and one day.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Bobbitt; her step-father, Everett Devore; two great-nephews, Memphis Sherrer, and Zachary Bethel; and a great-niece, Jailei Luke.
Tammy is survived by a son, Timothy Farris, of Lebanon, Missouri; her mother, Virginia Devore, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Terry Ward, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Maxine Sherrer, and her husband James, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Debbie Savoy, and her fiancé Chuck, of Vidor, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, and received her education there. She continued to live most of her life in the Lebanon area. She had worked for Laclede Industries for several years and in her school years she enjoyed participating in Special Olympics.
Tammy had attended Community Baptist Church.
She loved visiting with her family and friends.
Tammy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Funeral services for Tammy Farris will be Monday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon with Rev. Allen Reeves officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 3 from 4 - 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Sleeper.
