Tammy Sue Johnston(Bolivar)'s Obituary
Tammy Sue Johnston of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, passed from this life Monday, January 13, 2025, in her home.
Tammy was born May 21, 1960, in Springfield Missouri to Monroe and Elvena (Johnson) Johnston.
Tammy grew in the Pleasant Hope Fundamental Baptist Church later joining the First Baptist Church.
She is a 1978 graduate of Pleasant Hope High School. Later after her children were older, she went back to continue her education earning a Bachelor of Science and completing her Master's degree in accounting, graduating with honors from Drury University in Springfield MO.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Monroe, brother-in-law James Kilts, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her children Melanie Kelly of Springfield and her children Kaylen and Maddox. Her son Jeffrey Strong of Fair Grove his wife Toni and their sons; Gavin, Garrett and Grant, her mother, Elvena, sister Loretta Kilts of Arkadelphia, AR, four nieces, one nephew; many great nieces, nephews, one great- great nephew and many cousins.
