Tandy Shipman, Jr. (Seymour)'s Obituary
Tandy Shipman, Jr. age 62 of Seymour, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in his home. He was born Tuesday, February 1, 1955 in Washington, Georgia the son of Tandy Shipman, Sr. and Mary Alice (Lamar) Shipman. He graduated from Ozark High School with the Class of 1973. On November 14, 1991 he was united in marriage to Marsha D. (Cantrell) Cooley and they then made their home in Seymour.
Tandy loved the outdoors and was happiest when watching his grandchildren play or catching a nap outdoors under a tree in his yard. He had a good sense of humor and loved to tease and play practical jokes.
Survivors include his wife Marsha of the home; a step-son Joshua L. Cooley of Seymour; a son Jericho A. Shipman of Seymour; a daughter Katie L. Shipman of Seymour; 6 grandchildren, Landon Cooley, Jetta Cooley, Levi Cooley, Jesicho Shipman, Jaylan Shipman and Jeremiah Shipman; a brother Ronnie Shipman of Ozark, MO; his mother and father-in law Lenora K. and Walter E. Cantrell, Sr. of Seymour, MO as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Tandy was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family and left with the funeral home.
