Tellisa Mae Clarke (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Tellisa Mae Clarke, daughter of Danny and Florine Finley Tollison, was born December 25, 1972, in Modesto, California. She departed this life Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years and seventeen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.
Tellisa is survived by two daughters, Danyell Tollison, of Lebanon, Missouri and Eugina Higgins, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Nathan McClaflin, David Dunham, and Shane Dunham, all of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Keaton Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Natallee Taylor, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a niece and best friend, Lilly Lowery; a great nephew, Landon Lowery; a cousin and special friend, Charlene Lowery; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Modesto, California area. Tellisa graduated from Davis High School in Modesto and later became a LPN. She spent this last year as a caregiver and nanny for her niece Lilly.
Tellisa loved playing with her children and then, her grandchildren, throughout her life; she also had a special fondness for her dog, Wyatt. She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and was proud to be “just one of the boys”.
Tellisa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Remember her when you see butterflies.
A Memorial has been established to benefit disabled children, and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
