Teresa Andrews Hanna (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Teresa Dawn Andrews Hanna, daughter of Ronald Darwin and Melba Louise Jones Andrews, was born February 11, 1969, in Burlington, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, July 29, 2016, in her home, in Dade City, Florida, at the age of forty-seven years, five months, and eighteen days.
On October 17, 2012, she was united in marriage to Franklin Deal Hanna, Jr., and they shared the last four years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Audra Jones, and Don and Alma Andrews.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Frank, of the home; a daughter, Sara Erdmann, and her husband, Bill, of Parrish, Florida; two sons, Zachary Morgan, of Dade City, Florida, and Josh Morgan, of Tampa, Florida; a granddaughter, Rhiannon Erdmann; two step-children, Corey Hanna, of Port Richey, Florida, and Holly Hanna, of the State of Kentucky; her parents, Melba and Clyde Simmons, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Ron Andrews, and his family, of Marshfield, Missouri; two brothers, Jim and Beatrice Andrews, of San Antonio, Texas, and Don Andrews, of Grovespring, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School. She then made her home in Florida, where she became a Registered Nurse and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Southeast University in Lakeland, Florida. She made her home in Pasco County and began working as a nurse in the wound center at Florida Hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was trained in Oncology and was a member of the Oncology Nurse Society, and was certified in advanced cardiac life support. She was an organizer for the Pasco Chapter of the Central Florida Limb Salvage Alliance and was a Clinical Nurse II with advanced training in FHZ. She and Frank had made their home in Dade City, Florida for the last five years.
In her spare time she enjoyed doing stain glass artworks, and liked growing plants and flowers, particularly orchids. She was very gifted in arts and crafts and enjoyed doing many types of art projects. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her children and granddaughter.
Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them through the years.
