Teresa "Tee" Waters (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Teresa Elaine Waters, lovingly called “Tee” by everyone that knew and loved her, was born to Versa Ruth (McComb) Waters and Donald “Don” Wayne Waters on April 7, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa. She departed this life Monday, July 26, 2021, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years, three months, and nineteen days.
Tee, in her younger and healthier years, was a caregiver. She worked at nursing homes and cared for people in their homes. She always fell in love with them and they would love her too. She moved to Naples, Florida in 1985 and worked at an answering service. She had a beautiful speaking voice and a caring heart. She retired, for health reasons, and moved back to Lebanon. She always said, “I was never blessed with children of my own, but God blessed me with many babies to care for over my life.” She adored her nieces and nephews, and later her great-nieces and great-nephews. She had friends she loved in her life that had children and she took care of them too. She had a beautiful smile that is now making Heaven ever brighter. She was a great cook and always wanted to mother everyone and everything. Her heart was guarded but once you earned her love you had it for life. Her heart broke for anyone and animals in need. She thought of others before herself, prayed for her family and friends and wore her heart on her sleeve. She never had trouble showing her love, but also had a temper that you didn’t want to see. She was determined and strong-willed, and lived life on her terms.
She was preceded in death by her Daddy Don, in September of 2003; her sister, Sharon Kay Waters Rose, on July 17, 1987; and two great-nephews, Malachi Burdette and Konner Uva.
Tee leaves behind to celebrate her life and to carry on her love for her family, her Momma Versa Ruth (McComb) Waters, of Lebanon, Missouri; her brothers, Gary Waters and Michael Solano, of Chicago, Illinois, and Lary Waters, of Bettendorf, Iowa; her sisters, Charla Hoover, Zoe Adkins, and her husband, Victor, and Donna Combs, all of Lebanon, Missouri; her brother-in-law, Donald Hoover, of Live Oak, Florida, and Victor Adkins, who she adored, of Lebanon, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Shenna Burdette, Nichole King, and her husband, Leslie, Amber Sigler, and her husband, Francisco, all of Naples, Florida, David Rose, and his wife, Janelle, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Chase Bates, of Memphis, Tennessee, Michael Rose, and his wife, Shay, Brandon Adkins, Ricole Waack, Christopher Adkins, and his wife, Kahre, Misty Jones, and her husband, Larry, and Andrew Waters, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Leasa Marie Yelton, and Andrea Adkins, both of Springfield, Missouri; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caydon Griesbaum, Leeam Waack, Autumn Jones, Karlie Jones, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Olivia Grace Lobaton, of Springfield, Missouri, Colt Adkins, of Lebanon, Missouri, Khloe Uva, of Lebanon, Missouri, Taten Adkins, of Independence, Missouri, Ian and Aiden Peyton, Calen Burdette, Ivan, Jada, and Anabella Sigler, Trevor and Carter King, all of Naples, Florida; many cousins and friends; and her hairy daughter kitty, Heaven Lynne Waters.
She will be greatly missed. If you had the pleasure to really know her, then carry on her love for family and life. Love big, Forgive often, Overlook each other’s short comings, and say I Love You every chance you get, like she did.
