Terri R. Cloyd (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Terri (Greer) Cloyd, lovingly known as Manaw, left this earth for the streets of Heaven on July 25, 2024, in Homer, Alaska on a bucket list adventure. She was born in Springfield, Missouri, to Kathryn (Bell) and Gary Greer on December 1, 1970. Terri was saved during revival in July of 1982 at Lindley Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and was a member there until 2009, when she joined Southside Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member until the time of her passing. She married the love of her life, Dee Cloyd, on December 28, 1996, and they called Goodson, Missouri home until recently when they moved to Flemington so Terri could experience looking at the lake each morning and evening. Terri worked at Southwest Electric for over 20 years, where she developed many cherished friendships.
Terri lived and treasured life to the fullest. She enjoyed music, dancing, everything Disney, and traveling, especially when she did it with family, or going to watch Rylen, Easton or Tatum as they competed in cheer, soccer, volleyball, football or baseball. She created a special family with The Beasts, Easton’s summer baseball team, as they called her their biggest fan, favorite grandparent, and all the boys referred to her as their Manaw. Terri loved the water, especially when she was on the lake with her grandchildren or family. There are no words to capture how special Terri was or what she meant to her family and friends.
Terri was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eunice and Lloyd Bell, and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Anna Greer. She is survived by her husband Dee, sons Dustin and Jared (Lauren), adored grandchildren Rylen, Tatum, and Easton, parents Gary and Kathryn Greer, sisters Toni (Jason) Farmer and Tammy (Bart) Ikerd, nieces Hannah Farmer, Micala (Steven) Phillips and Sami Bolen; nephews Logan Ikerd, Sean Ikerd and Latham (Kass) Melton-Farmer, many grandnephews and grandnieces, aunts and uncles, and too many friends to count.
