Terry Landrum's Obituary
Terry Edward Landrum, son of Royce Elmo and Rmina Ruth Young Landrum, was born, March 9, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, February 5, 2007 in Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years, ten months and twenty-seven days. On June 25, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Cindy Lou Bachmann and to this union three sons were born. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leonard Landrum and Jerry W. Landrum; his father-in-law, Earl Bachmann, Sr.; and three brothers-in-law, Gus Crump, Larry Bachmann and Timmy Bachmann. Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Cindy; three sons, Bradley Landrum, Anthony Landrum and T.J. Landrum all of the home; two sisters, Dorothy Schlett and her husband, Fred, of DeSoto, Missouri, and Ruby Crump of Florissant, Missouri; mother-in-law, Helen Bachmann; sisters-in-law, Sharon Eckert and her husband, Jaye, Susan Ruff and her husband, Cliff, Nancy Peetzal and her husband, Al, Patty Greene and Kevin, and Judy Bachmann and Kenny; brothers-in-law, Mike Bachmann and his wife, Linda, Earl Bachmann, Jr. and his wife, Barb, Harry Bachmann and Hans Bachmann; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends. Terry was raised in St. Louis and graduated from Central High School in 1969. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country for two tours during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he returned to St. Louis. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation in St. Louis and retired after thirty-two years of service. He and his family moved to Camdenton in 2001. Terry was baptized into St. Anthony Catholic Church of Camdenton. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and studying history. He enjoyed music, especially the “oldies” and was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was most of all a jokester and loved making those around him laugh. Terry was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to The American Cancer Society may be made through the funeral home.
