Thelma Lee Lewis (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Thelma Lee Lewis, daughter of Charles F. and Thelma Lee Shiver Greeno, was born December 11, 1953, in Fort Riley, Kansas. She departed this life Monday, September 1, 2014, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, eight months, and twenty days.
She was united in marriage to Norman R. Lewis, who preceded her in death in December of 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her step-father, Bobby Harris, who was her father figure.
Thelma is survived by two daughters, Yasamyne Korban, of Killeen, Texas, and Marium Jones, and her husband, Hunter, of Hartley, Delaware; a son, Christopher Korban, of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Greeno, Philip Greeno, and his wife, Kelly, and Jeff Greeno, all of Lebanon, Missouri,; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Kansas, and was raised in various locations while her father was serving in the military. After she and Norman were married, they made their home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for several years. Eventually, Thelma moved to Lebanon, Missouri and made her home. Thelma was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Thelma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading and working puzzles. Her family was very important to her.
Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A visitation will follow the service. A Memorial has been established to help the family with expenses and donations may be left at the funeral home.
