Thelma was a huge asset to the Laclede Developmental Training Center. Not only did she serve for years on the Board but she was a member of the parent’s auxiliary, which raised money to assist our consumers with special events. She was a lovely, special woman who will be dearly missed. Her memory will forever hold strong here at LDTC and LINK. May God hold the hands of her family as they take this journey forward without her. I would like to add this poem by Therese Williamson:
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.##imported-begin##Chris Aguilar##imported-end##
