Theresa Lee Nonnweiler (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Theresa Lee Nonnweiler, daughter of William Hastie and Shirley Shaffer, was born March 30, 1951, in Butte, Montana. She departed this life Sunday, August 29, 2021, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, four months, and thirty days.
On May 17, 1971, she was united in marriage to Randy Bruce Nonnweiler, and they shared the last fifty years of happiness and memories.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Randy, of the home; three sisters, Sharon Hastie, Deborah Tomlinson, and Sandra Hastie, all of El Cajon, California; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Montana and then moved with her family to San Diego, California when she was a child. After having graduated from high school, she soon married Randy, and they made their home near Sacramento for several years. Theresa was a devoted homemaker to her husband and also worked as a nurse’s aide for some time. In 1995, she and Randy moved to their farm near Lebanon, Missouri and made their home.
Theresa had attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon. She was always willing to help others and had volunteered through the years.
She enjoyed life on the farm and liked taking care of her home. She loved raising and training talking parrots and had several in their home. Her family was very important to her and she loved family gatherings.
Theresa was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
All services will be private and under the care and direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
