Thomas Willam Patten (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Thomas Willam Patten passed away at his home in Buffalo Missouri, on October 8, 2019 at 82 years of age. He was born February 7, 1937, in Trenton Nebraska, to Matilda and Daniel Patten.
As a young man, he enjoyed spending time fishing. He also served in the U.S. Army where he was awarded a Purple Heart.
While living in California, he provided for his wife and 4 children by working as a mechanic. After moving to Missouri, he worked as a custodian at Buffalo High School, where he remained until retirement.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lucy; and brothers, Marvin, Lenard and Frank. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 61 years, Cynthia Ann Patten; three of his children, Cindy, James and Donna; 10 grandchildren, Chrystal, Andrena, Trena, Janice, Tracy, Jessica, Samantha, Jack, Ricky and Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale; a sister Bonnie; and his two dogs, Blade and Alex.
A memorial lunch will be held in his honor for close friends and family at the O’Bannon Center, in Buffalo, on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
