Thomas Lyle Spears was born on November 23, 1971 in Dekalb, Illinois and departed this life on December 10, 2024 in Springfield, Missouri.
Today we remember a husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, papa, and our friend.
We will remember your humor, kindness, generosity, and love.
We will remember your stories, your hobbies, your lesson, and your hugs.
Today we will send you to a better place, a place where you can hunt, fish, laugh, and watch over your loved ones forever.
Oh, how we love you, when we hear the wind blow, see the sunshine, hold a child’s hand, we will think of you and oh, my dear friend, how we will miss you.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in the Mission Ridge Cemetery with Linda Beebe officiating. Escorts will be Stanley Jovich, Tim Armstrong, Ray Buntin, Tray Spears, Travis Bretsch, Mike Clayton, Donnie Wise, and Aaron Tearlink. Interment will be in the Mission Ridge Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Urbana. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
