Thomas Wigton's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Patrick Wigton, age 54, of Walnut Grove, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his home in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born April 10, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents are David Gaylord and Jeanne (Reed) Gaylord.
Thomas was a fork lift driver for Associated Wholesale Grocers in Springfield, Missouri and had worked there the past 13 years. He was Ordained as a Minister in 1990 and was the first Pastor at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri.
On April 25, 1992 he married Jennifer F. Humphreys in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Rena Marie Chambers.
Thomas is survived by his wife; Jennifer F. Wigton of Walnut Grove, Missouri, two sons; Joshua Scott of Springfield, Missouri, Matthew Wigton of Springfield, Missouri, four daughters; Michelle Perry-Gutierrez of California, Cheree Perry of California, Joanna Scott of Springfield, Missouri, Mary Wigton of Walnut Grove, Missouri, his parents; David & Jeanne Gaylord of Bolivar, Missouri, two brothers; Arthur Hatch of Redmond, Oregon, Ron Gaylord of Fair Play, Missouri, six sisters; Kathy Purdy of Battlefield, Missouri, Susan Rodriguez of California, Patti Amaral of California, Cindy Arney of Oregon, Jeanie Gaylord of Oregon, Julie Galkin of California, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, March 25, 2011 at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Musical selections will be ?It Is Well With My Soul?, ?One Thing Have I Desired? and ?Just As I Am?. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30pm Thursday evening at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Stephen Purdy, Jr., Jeffery Ryan Purdy, Arthur F. Hatch, Steve Purdy, Sr., David Gaylord, and Matthew Wigton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Keyston, Joshua Scott and Joshua Gaylord.
