Tommy Joe Dibben (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Tommy Joe Dibben, son of John W. and Katherine Rubles Dibben, was born June 28, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, June 17, 2012, at his home, near Falcon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-three years, eleven months, and nineteen days.
On April 20, 2002, he was united in marriage to Wanda Florence Brown, and they shared seven years before her passing on February 3, 2009.
He was also preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Dennis Ray and John Edward Porter.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Katherine Files, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, James Porter, and Roger Jones, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Donita Hill, and Sandra Hurt, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Alberta Seaton, of Eldon, Missouri; two step-daughters, Sabrina Hill, and Kim Barker, both of Lebanon, Missouri; four step-sisters, Carolyn Rubles, and Vicky Harrison, both of Lebanon, Missouri, Gail Nellist, of Lyndonville, New York, and Faye Sebienacher, of Eldridge, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived most of his life in the Lebanon, Missouri area. Throughout the years, Tommy worked doing handyman jobs for other people.
Tommy followed the Pentecostal faith during his lifetime.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors and liked to collect arrowheads and rocks. He also enjoyed doing woodworking projects, and carvings, and liked to sing. He possessed a good sense of humor and was always smiling.
Tommy was a loving son, brother, step-father, uncle, and nephew, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
