Tommy J. Ross (Seymour)'s Obituary
Tommy Jene Ross age 76 of Forsyth, Missouri and a former Seymour resident passed away on Sunday, October 13. 2019 at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born Thursday, December 24, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tom met Sharon daughter of Howard L. Rash and Bernice Emma (Scheurer) Rash at Washington High School in California and they were married on February 24, 1962, to this union 2 daughters Rhonda and Wendy were born. He and Sharon spent many loving years California, where he started his Union plumbing career.
Some of the big jobs he worked on included plumbing the Oakland Coliseum and Geysers in California. He also spent time in the Arctic Circle/ Prudhoe Bay on the Alaskan Pipeline. He then retired to Forsyth, Missouri in 1991. He went on to own and operate his own plumbing business (Ross Plus) in Forsyth for a number of years.
He loved building Hot Rods and riding motorcycles and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Herbert Ross and Dola June Ross, his beloved wife Sharon in 2018, his daughter Rhonda (Ross) Lovelace and two brothers Sid Ross and Danny Ross
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Wendy & Doug Yanez of DeSoto KS and his son-in-law Billy Lovelace of Lake Nebagman Wisconsin; two brothers Rex & Golda Ross of Seymour Missouri and Arnie and Cathy Ross of Rogersville MO; two grandchildren: Cody Lovelace and wife Sam of Baldwinsville, New York and Emma Wood & husband Adam of Spearsville, Louisiana as well as four great grandchildren Quinn Lovelace, Duncan Lovelace, Avery Wood & Waylon Wood.
He leaves behind many cherished memories with his family and friends.
Memorial donations may be left at the funeral home for Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
