Tommy Darrell Ward (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Tom was a fourth generation Camdenton resident and although he lived in various places around the United States, Camdenton was always home.
Tom served his county in the Vietnam War as a Scout in the Infantry Division of the United States Army. He was awarded many medals and accommodations. After Tom was discharged, he attended Drury University.
Tom is survived by the love of his life for nineteen years, Kristi McGrew of Camdenton; his niece, Jennifer Cochran Pacheco of Kansas City, Kansas; his nephew, Patrick D. Cochran, Jr. of Camdenton; his great-nephew Shawn P. Cochran of Camdenton; his cousin, Randy Denny and wife Sandy and their family of Camdenton, Sandy Shivers and husband Randy and their family of Camdenton and Max and Buddy, his four legged best friends. He will be missed by many other friends and family
While his hobby and main interest changed thru the years, he was in a rock and roll band in high school called The Sound Company. He continued to always enjoy music. He was an astrologist and could spend hours learning about personal traits. He loved horse racing, computers, theater, movies and nature. In the evening hours, Tom could be found back in the woods taking walks with Kristi, Max and Buddy. He loved his family and had a heart that was pure love. His family always came first because they were the very heart of his existence.
Visitation will follow the service at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
Memorial donations to Harper Chapel Shining Stars may be made through the funeral home.
