Tanya was born and raised in Turlock, California. When she was fifteen, her family moved to Norwood and she graduated from Norwood High School in 1993. Shortly after she and her twin sister started working at Sonic until they both decided to go to Springfield and become CNA’s. She met and fell in love with Kenny Lansdown in 1995 and the couple were married just a year later in 1996. Tanya worked two jobs to make sure things were tied up. She worked at Autumn Oaks as a CNA and Emmerson Electric in Lebanon until she became ill. She battled a long illness and always had her family by her side to help her through the roughest of times.
Tanya was saved at an early age and was baptized later in her life.
Tanya was an outdoors woman. She loved to go floating and swimming as well as go on camping trips with her family. She also enjoyed fishing and pulling pranks on her closest friends and family. When she was younger, she especially liked to collect baseball cards and had quite the collection built up. When she became ill she loved to have visitor’s stop by and talk with her for hours on end. Most importantly, Tanya loved her family very much. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and caring friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and we will always cherish the many happy memories she created.
