Twilla Shepherd (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Twilla Fay Shepherd, daughter of the late Carl & Marie (Crotts) Frederick, was born on April 5, 1938 in Camdenton, Missouri and departed this life at her home in Sunrise Beach, Missouri on November 2, 2020. At the time of her passing she was eighty-two years, six months, and twenty-eight days of age.
Twilla was preceded in passing by her parents, Carl and Marie Frederick; two brothers, Billy Joe Frederick and Jerry Frederick; two brothers-in-law, Don Newell and Richard Nance; and two sons-in-law, Kenneth Winn and Roy Dupas.
Twilla is survived by her husband, Bruce Shepherd; six children, Vicky & Mike Robertson, Jonathon & Marilyn Bilyea Shepherd, Cole & Deborah Schaffner Shepherd, Delton & Toneka Brown Shepherd, Molly Winn, and Helen Gregory; two sisters, Treva Nance and Vivian Newell; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Frederick; and brother-in-law, John Shepherd. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members who will all truly miss her.
Together, Bruce and Twilla shared more than sixty-seven years marriage. She loved to read and sew for her family. Her favorite moments were camping and fishing.
No services will be held per her wishes. There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
