Vada Ann White (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Vada Ann White, daughter of Louis Edward and Martha Janey Shockey Duggan, was born March 26, 1939 near Isabella, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-four years, five months and twenty-eight days.
On August 16, 1962 she was united in marriage to William Earl White who preceded her in death on June 21, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond Duggan and Walter J. Duggan.
Vada is survived by her daughter, Beverley Roy and her husband, Ronnie of Mansfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Reggie Roy, Randall Roy and his wife, Julie, Regina Banwart and her husband, Devin, Shelly Garrison and her husband, Jerry, Chris Roy, Alex Roy and Radonna Roy; eleven great-grandchildren, Katie, Mason, Maddie, Abby, Andrew, Grace, Raine, Kally, Kayla, Kiki and Delaney; two sisters, Lee Ellen Ridinger and Delia Ann Lind both of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Robert Duggan and his wife, Betty of Protem, Missouri, Floyd Duggan and his wife, Wanda and Rayford Duggan and his wife Cathy all of Omaha, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Vada was born and raised in the Isabella area where she attended school. After she and Earl were married they made their home in the Hardenville area before moving to Mansfield six years ago to be near Beverley and her family.
Vada was saved at an early age and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In her spare time, Vada enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting and putting puzzles together. She loved going to church, the family getting together, and going to the grandkids ballgames.
Vada was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend.
We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories we have of her.
