Vagar Sheriff (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Vaqar Ahmed Sheriff born on December 7, 1970 in Karachi, Pakistan to Mohammed Sheriff and Mehrunisia (Begum) Sheriff passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, June 9th following a long, brave battle with Huntington’s Disease.
The youngest of six children, Vaqar came to the United States following the deaths of both his parents and made it his home for the last 31 years. He lived in Illinois for 15 years before moving his family to Camdenton, Missouri. He proudly was sworn in as a US citizen on September 18, 2006. He started working in retail upon his arrival in the States and worked his way up to being a Department Manager at Bed Bath and Beyond.
He met the love of his life, Linda (Matz) Sheriff, in December 1993 and was married on April 30, 1994. From this union, twin boys, Kamran and Khalid were born on November 12, 1997.
He loved watching Bollywood movies and The History Channel, but his greatest love was taking care of his cars.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, an older brother (Javed Sheriff), an older sister (Salma Sualeh), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, a half-brother (Aslam), a brother (Salmon) and a sister (Nasreen).
