Velma E. Austin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Velma Earlean Austin (Anglin) was born on May 26, 1932 to Wesley and Sylvia (Breshears) Anglin. She departed this life at her home in Elkland on March 13th, 2019 at the age of 86 years 11 months and 26 days.
She was saved at an early age and joined Union Mound Church. She was united in marriage to Glenn Austin on April 16, 1947. This union was blessed with two daughters Helen Jean and Jacquelyn.
Glenn passed away on June 10, 1983. She was a loving wife, mother, and Granny. Her family was always a major factor in her life. The years brought her two grandsons. The great-grandchildren were treasured gifts and she always had time for them no matter what else she might be doing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, seven sisters, and three brothers.
She is survived by her two daughters Helen Jean and husband Larry Howe, and Jacquelyn and her husband Richard Howe, two grandsons Chris Howe and wife Shawna, and Steven Howe. Four great-grandchildren Sierra, Amber, Hunter, and Khlae Howe. One brother Bob Anglin of Camdenton, Missouri.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Union Mound Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Brinkley Officiating.
