Velma Gilmore (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Velma Marie Gilmore, 60 of Halfway, MO passed away Wednesday morning on February 12th at her home in Halfway. Velma was born May 18, 1953 in Fair Play, MO and is the daughter of William Lee Orrell and Amanda Elizabeth (Robertson) Orrell.
Velma married the love of her life; Billie Gilmore on Jan 10, 1972. To this union three children were born; Paul, Billy and Regina. She spent many years in the food industry. Velma enjoyed making quilts, sewing clothing for children along with doing genealogy about her family.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; William and Amanda Orrell, one son; Billy Shane Gilmore, sister; Delma Mae, and four brothers; Lloyd, Delmer, Ralph and Dwight, and a brother in law Tommy Truelove.
Surviving Velma is; Her Husband Billie Gilmore, of the home, one son; Paul Gilmore and wife Natalie of Aldrich, MO, one Daughter; Regina Marvin and husband Eddy of Pleasant Hope, MO, three Sisters; Ruth Rowan and husband Clifton Lee of Springfield, MO, Vonda Truelove of Springfield, MO and Norma Smith and husband Lee of Bolivar, MO, two brothers; Kenneth Orrell and wife Treva of Bolivar, MO and Charles Orrell and wife Lois of Collins, MO, eight grandchildren; David Allen, Michael Shane, Shelby Paul, Austin Neil, Shawn Adam, Jacob Morgan, Emily Renee, and Katelyn Lee.
