Vesta Christine Miller (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Vesta Christine Miller, 93, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home in Fair Play, Missouri. Vesta was born outside Chautauqua, Kansas, on November 7, 1929, to Brooks Cleveland Mantooth and Elora Mae (Tresner) Mantooth.
She completed high school in Sedan, Kansas. She was married to James Richard Miller until his passing in 2001.
She most recently retired from Poor Boy Tree Service of Fair Play after 20+ years employment as an office manager and bookkeeper. She had previously retired from Orval Davis Tire of Bolivar after 20+ years of employment as a bookkeeper.
She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family, going to Stockton Lake, drinking coffee, and watching Wheel of Fortune.
Vesta will be remembered for her dedication to her loved ones, her tireless work ethic, her generosity, and so much more.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers, her husband, and an infant son, Clark Richard Miller.
Vesta is survived by a son Dennis Miller; a daughter, Janice Andrews; a daughter-in-law, Jane Miller; three grandchildren, Charles Miller, Anna Miller, and Tia Childers; and four great grandchildren, Brandall, Dallion, Holden, and Elora.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar.
Services are under the care and direction of Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.
