Vickie Burr's Obituary
Vickie Earlene Williams Burr, daughter of Lloyd Ervin and Treva Shirlene Deckard Williams, was born April 5, 1957, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, July 11, 2007, in St. John’s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, three months, and six days. Her parents preceded her in death. Vickie is survived by a special friend, Thomas Welch, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Dennis Williams, and his wife, Patty, of Lebanon, Missouri; eight grandchildren; a brother, Randy Williams, and his wife, Martha, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Reba Pierson, and her husband, Tim, of Elsberry, Missouri; three nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Lebanon community and attended Lebanon High School. She then made her home in Oklahoma and Boston, Massachusetts before returning to Lebanon. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her family, she also worked as a home healthcare provider for several years. Vickie had made her profession of belief in Christ and was baptized into the Freewill Baptist faith. She was a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed going to car races, collecting dolls, and looking for antiques in her spare time. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Vickie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and special friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the memories she made for her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, in the Roper Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. Memorials may be made through the funeral home.
