Vickie Florene Eagle (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Vickie Florene (Sharp) Eagle passed away after a courageous battle with ALS on May 10th, 2026 at her home in Nixa, MO. She was born to Bill and Florene (Rambo) Sharp on September 13th, 1963. Vickie was raised in Buffalo, MO and graduated from high school there in 1981. She completed the accounting program at Draughon Business College in 1982, which later became Vatterott College. She was the Financial Aid Director at Vatterott College and worked there for 27 years. In addition, she received an Associate’s Degree from Ozarks Technical Community College in 2022. Vickie loved to watch movies and true crime shows. She was a big fan of Elvis, as well. Vickie loved the Lord and was recently baptized. Vickie loved spending time with her many friends and family. She was a wonderful friend and mother, which was evident from the amount of love and support she received from her friends and family during her battle with ALS. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Sandy Sharp and Cindy Sharp, and her sister-in-law Sharon Sharp. She is survived by her brother Rick Sharp, son Conner Orman and wife Kristen, stepsons Jaden Eagle and Paul Eagle, nephew Bobby Sharp and wife Sarah, and niece Angie Woods. A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with visitation from 10-11 and formal service at 11 with Brent Sharp officiating. Following services an inurnment will take place at Reynolds Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
