Vickie Lynn Reeves (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Vickie Lynn Reeves, daughter of Ernest and Ella Myers Callahan, was born August 4, 1952, in Tuckerman, Arkansas. She departed this life Friday, July 5, 2019, in her daughter’s home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-six years, eleven months, and one day.
On March 17, 1969, in Ottawa, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Harry Eugene Reeves, and to this union two daughters and two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Mark Burns and Tiffany Burns; two brothers, Roger, and Danny Ray; and three sisters, Barbara Ann, Mary, and Ina Lee.
Vickie is survived by her husband of fifty years, Harry, of the home; two daughters, Kelli Jones, and her husband, Randall, and Kitti Hoerle, and her husband, John, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Derrick Reeves, and his wife, Danna, and Jay Reeves, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandchildren, Lukas Reeves, and Todd Burns; two brothers, Leon Callahan, and his wife, Pearl, of LaCygne, Kansas, and Jerry Callahan, and his wife, Alice, of the State of West Virginia; a sister, Carrie Ledom, and her husband, Mike, of Farlington, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Arkansas and Kansas, and received her education there. After she and Harry were married, they made their home in Lebanon, Missouri, and lovingly raised their children. Vickie was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also worked for the H. D. Lee Company for twenty-five years. She later was employed by Starlite Lanes for over ten years.
She enjoyed being outdoors where she liked to go fishing. She loved to bowl and liked having family cookouts. She possessed a delightful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Vickie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
