Vicky Collins (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Vicky Marie Collins, daughter of Jesse and Audrey Roadlander McIntosh, was born August 26, 1962 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on September 1, 2014 in her home in Mansfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-two years and five days.
Vicky was united in marriage to Steve Collins and to this union two children were born. She later had another child with Ronnie Farris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Hase and Della McIntosh, brother, Donnie “Duck” McIntosh, niece, Tina McIntosh and a nephew, Bryan Kennedy.
Vicky is survived by two sons, Steven Collins and his wife, Tamara of Ava, Missouri and Jess Farris of Macomb, Missouri; daughter, Amy Collins and Jason Walker of Mansfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Haylee, Hayden and Lauren; two brothers, Eddie McIntosh of Norwood, Missouri, Paul McIntosh and his wife, Sherry of Norwood, Missouri; three sisters, Wilma Lancaster and her husband, Ron of Mansfield, Missouri, Norma Coday and David Tripp of Mansfield, Missouri, Teresa Kenney and her husband, Jim of California, Missouri; a special friend, Tim Stout; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
Vicky lived most of her life in the Norwood/Macomb area. She graduated from Norwood High School in the Class of 1980. After graduating, she worked for several factories including, Tobin Hamilton Shoe Factory, Copeland’s and Arlee’s Home Fashion Industries.
In her spare time she liked fishing, canoeing, gardening and spending time with friends. But her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren, especially Haylee.
Vicky was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always remember the good times we had together.
Memorial donations to the McIntosh Cemetery or the Ashley Cowboy Meeting Place may be made through the funeral home.
