Vida Austin (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Vida Jewell Austin entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 31, 2015 in
Mercy Hospital following surgery for heart complications.
Vida Jewell was the daughter of Jim and Beulah (Lambeth) Ankrom. She was born March 20, 1932 near Halfway, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Stanley Austin July 17, 1948 and to this union
four children were born: Stanley Dwain, Larry Dean, Jennifer Ann and Jeffrey Claud.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who passed in 2007, her son, Larry Dean who passed in 1990, two brothers, Thurman and Buddy Ankrom and one sister, Wanda Scott.
She is survived by her son, Stan and his wife, Linda, Jennifer and her husbandPete, and son Jeff. Six grandchildren: Kacee Austin Miller, Blake Robinson, Steve Austin, Clint Robinson, Allyson and Lilly Austin. Six great-grandchildren and one more on the way. Three sisters, Louise Wolf, Mildred Bybee and Mary Blair. Several nieces, nephews and friends, and a special niece, Melissa Haney.
She enjoyed her last two years at CMHCF, especially Bingo! The family would like to thank the staff at CMHCF for their care and also the CMH ICU nurses for their care and concern.
