On April 10, 1982, she was married to Robert Boyd “Curley” Dickinson, who preceded her in death on November 2, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jay Holman; and three sisters, Betty Root, Jeanie Hildebrand, and Joyce VanHooser.
Pat, as she was called by her family and friends, is survived by two daughters, Debbie Savittiere, and her husband, Ben, and Mary Beth Allman, and her husband, Don, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Mandy, Chad, Brandon, and Deadra; twelve great-grandchildren, Maddysen, Garett, Taylor, Cameran, Carley, Nick, Knoxx, Lauren, Aleyah, Loran, Tommy, and Wyatt; a sister, Bonnie Hudson, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and graduated from Lebanon High School. She earned her cosmetology license from the State of Missouri, and worked as a hair stylist for a few years. After she and Dale were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their daughters. Pat then worked for the H. D. Lee Company for several years before becoming a dietician at the Breech Medical Center. Through the years, Pat was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Pat had established a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior and her faith was pivotal in her life.
She enjoyed fishing on the Lake of the Ozarks and particularly liked catching Crappie. She was a gifted seamstress and was talented at repurposing things so that nothing usable was ever wasted. She enjoyed working in her garden where she grew wonderful vegetables which she canned and shared with her friends and neighbors. She also grew beautiful plants and flowers and would share starts of her plants with her family. She was a wonderful hostess and always had the coffee pot on and something for her guests to eat. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during eighty-one years.
