Vivian is survived by two daughters, Jan Blue, and her husband, Jim, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Geri Hornaday, and her husband, Stan, of Holt, Missouri; four granddaughters, Christie Blue, and her husband, Jeff, Lori Lutkenhaus, and her husband, Mike, Lindsay Svadbik, and her fiancé, Nate Stephenson, and Amber King; four great-grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Candice, and London; two great-great-grandchildren, Kynedi, and Lola-Grayce; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Lejeck; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Chicago, Illinois area, and graduated from Calumet High School in the Class of 1942. After she and Eugene were married, they made their home in Illinois and lovingly raised their children. Throughout the years, Vivian was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. In the late 1970’s, Vivian and Eugene came to live in Lebanon, Missouri, and Vivian worked at the Wal Mart Store for several years.
Vivian was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Lemont, Illinois, and had attended Southern Heights Christian Church since moving to Lebanon.
She had worked as a volunteer at the Hughes Senior Center, and she and Eugene liked wintering in Texas for a number of years. In her spare time she enjoyed doing craft projects, camping, crossword search puzzles, playing bingo, and particularly square dancing throughout her life. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed all of her grandchildren.
Vivian was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
