Vivian June Sutton (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Vivian June Sutton, daughter of the late Odas and Myrtle Jewel (Jackson) Swanigan was born on June 10, 1938 in Celt, MO, and departed this life on March 24, 2020 at her home in Urbana, MO. At the time of her passing she was 81 years, 9 months, and 13, days of age.
Vivian was united in marriage to Charles Edward Sutton on October 20, 1963 and to this union five children were born, all of whom survive her. She enjoyed working in her garden, taking care of her flowers, and spending time with her family.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and her parents. She is survived by her children, Debbie and husband Jason Whipple of Lee’s Summit, MO, Stephen and wife Karla Sutton of Lebanon, MO, Gerald and wife Jennifer Sutton of Urbana, MO, Charlene and husband Charles Wilson of Buffalo, MO, and Angie and husband Jeff Cano of Urbana, MO; and her grandchildren, Brett Whipple, Taylor and husband Cody Croan, Mckenzie Sutton, Tyler Sutton, Katelin Sutton, Victor Sutton, Jacob Wilson, Emily Wilson, and Zoey Cano. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will all truly miss her.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020 in the Mission Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Aaron Taylor officiating. Escorts will be Jacob Wilson, Tyler Sutton, Brett Whipple, Dennis Gruber, Darrell Gruber, and Cody Croan. Honorary escorts will be Victor Sutton and Cy Birdsall. Friends may call on from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks or the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter.
