Wade H. Hampton (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Wade H. Hampton was born March 23, 1947 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri. He was seventy-seven years, eleven months and twenty-one days of age.
He is survived by his sister, Eva Renee McGee of Clayton, Missouri; his brother, Alan Hampton of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; and a good friend, Charlotte Knight of St. Louis, Missouri.
Wade grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Dunbar High School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He continued his education at Langston University and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree. He worked throughout his life as a social worker, moving to California, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri. He received great satisfaction and reward from working with disadvantaged children and youth.
He had a passion for science and history and he enjoyed sharing this knowledge with others. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and know his career as a social worker will have a positive impact on many lives for years to come.
